Star Wars is all the rage right now thanks to the upcoming release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and there are many more Star Wars films coming in the years ahead.
Disney clearly has a big plan to expand the franchise with numerous spinoffs, and fans have been dream casting stars in various roles.
One name that keeps coming up is Sebastian Stan because fans have noticed that he bares a striking resemblance to a young Mark Hamill, and the internet can’t stop talking about Stan possibly taking on the role of Luke Skywalker someday.
Sebastian Stan recently sat down for an interview with MTV, and they gave him a chance to audition for the role of Luke.
Stan read a few lines from the original trilogy but judging from the video, he’s not all that familiar with Star Wars. Check it out below.
At this point in time it’s unknown if there are plans for a young Luke Skywalker to appear in any of the upcoming spinoffs, as it could be argued that the original trilogy told us mostly everything we needed to know about Luke’s journey, but then again, there’s clearly a story that can be told between “Episode VI” and “Episode VII.”
