Everyone has been calling it “Independence Day 2” ever since it was announced, but now the film has an official title. The cast and crew held a special online press conference in order to build hype for the film and build hype they did. During the conference a special teaser video was released which revealed that the title of the film will be “Independence Day: Resurgence.”

Director Roland Emmerich also revealed what appears to be a vehicle that will be featured in the film via Twitter.
