The Fanstastic Four Rights Have Reportedly Returned To Marvel, Movie Rumored For 2020

Fans have been asking for this to happen for quite a while now and according to Den of Geek, Marvel now has the rights to “Fantastic Four.” News broke yesterday that Fox is currently developing two new TV shows set in the X-Men universe. One show will be based on Legion and the other on The Hellfire Club. Marvel reportedly made some sort of deal with Fox to allow them to move forward with the TV shows in exchange for the rights to “Fantastic Four.”

As if the prospect of the “Fantastic Four” joining the MCU wasn’t exciting enough, the deal apparently includes the rights to use Doctor Doom, Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Den of Geek’s source is also claiming that one of the mystery movies Marvel recently announced for 2020 will be a “Fantastic Four” film.

Fox attempted to reboot “Fantastic Four” with a new movie that was released in August and it’s been pretty well documented that the film was a bomb at the box office. Fans have been hoping to see “Fantastic Four” rights revert back to Marvel for years now and it seems that Marvel Studios might be the only people that can do their first family justice on the big screen.
