The wait is almost over as the shows of the “Arrowverse” will be returning soon, well most of them anyway. DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” won’t be returning until February, and when it does the team will look a little different.
Following the heartbreaking events that took place in the epic “Crisis On Earth-X” crossover, Firestorm is no more, and Jax left the team in the midseason finale. When Sara Lance boarded the Waverider after saying goodbye to Jax, she discovered that the ship had also been boarded by John Constantine.
Constantine has been confirmed for a few episodes of “Legends” but the powers that be will still have to fill the Firestorm sized hole that’s been left in the team.
There’s been a lot of speculation as to who could be replacing Firestorm, and many fans have wondered if Wally West could join the show.
During a recent interview with Black Girl Nerds, CW President Mark Pedowitz, praised Franz Drameh who played Jax on the show, and he hinted that we could be seeing Wally.
“He’s an incredible actor, but you might see Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) show up on Legends.”
When asked if Wally will become a permanent part of the team however he declined to answer.
“I can’t answer that, you’ll have to watch (laughs)!”
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” has always had a revolving cast, so it’s not shocking to see a few members of the team get switched out, but saying goodbye to Firestorm was not easy.
Perhaps the arrival of Wally West will help to ease the pain though, as we all know the team could definitely use a speedster on their side.
