Marvel Studios is known for keeping their secrets under wraps, and the powers that be have been going to extreme lengths to make sure that plot details for “Avengers: Infinity War” don’t leak. Tom Holland has admitted that Marvel doesn’t tell him much because they’re worried he won’t be able to keep his mouth shut, and Sebastian Stan was also kept in the dark while filming “Infinity War.”

Sebastian Stan recently spoke to Collider about his experience filming “Infinity War” and he feels that it’s ok that he was kept in the dark, because that’s kind of The Winter Soldier’s thing.

“I didn’t read a script for the last movie, so I was kind of in the dark,” Stan said via CinemaBlend. “Which is always okay for the Winter Soldier.”

Even though Stan wasn’t able to read the script, he still felt confident while filming the movie because he put his trust in Marvel and the Russos.

“I think there’s just an element of trust, it’s a family system and at this point, I feel like between the writers and the Russos everyone kind of guesses their next move so to speak and I feel like they know very well what I’m going to be bringing,” Stan said.

It’s unknown how big of a role The Winter Soldier will have in “Avengers: Infinity War” but we’ll find out when the movie is released on May 4, 2018.

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
