Samuel L. Jackson was a pretty big part of the Star Wars prequels as he played the Jedi Master Mace Windu who’s known for his infamous purple lightsaber. Jackson’s character was killed of in “Revenge of the Sith” so he wasn’t a part of “The Force Awakens.” But he has seen the film, so what did he think of it?

While speaking to ABC about his new movie “The Hateful Eight” Jackson didn’t seem all that impressed. When asked how he felt about the movie he simply responded by saying “It was done in the spirit of Star Wars.” It seems like he’s not trying to make any waves here but he also refrained from criticizing or praising the film in general. Closer towards the end of the interview he admits that he thinks “The kids need to go to lightsaber fight school.”
