Last year Spider-Man made his MCU debut in “Captain America: Civil War” but it turns out that Peter Parker actually made his MCU debut in “Iron Man 2” several years ago.

In the third act of the movie there’s a scene where a young boy wearing an Iron Man helmet tries to fight back against one of Justin Hammer’s drones before Iron Man swoops down to save the day. The current Spider-Man/Peter Parker recently spoke to The Huffington Post, and he says he was told by Kevin Feige that the little kid is Peter Parker.

“I can confirm that is Peter Parker. I can confirm that as of today. I literally had a conversation with Kevin Feige only 20 minutes ago. Maybe I’ve just done a big, old spoiler, but it’s out there now. It’s cool,” he added. “I like the idea that Peter Parker has been in the universe since the beginning.”

Everything’s connected, right guys?
