Paul Rudd recently spoke to MTV while promoting “Ant-Man” and he touched on a number of topics. One of the things he talked about is how the film fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Certainly it’s a part of the Marvel Universe. However, it stands on its own. That seemed to be a sticking point or something that was discussed when the history of this project was reported with Edgar, and wanting to make it more of Marvel movie. I think it absolutely fits in.”
When asked if we would see Ant-Man in other Marvel films Paul says he wouldn’t be surprised.
“I also wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Ant-Man in some other things, Rudd told MTV. “[Marvel]” has said a few things. I know some things, but I don’t know everything.”
