“Wonder Woman” is currently crushing it at the box office, and in 2019 Marvel will finally step up to the plate and release a film with a female superhero at the forefront with “Captain Marvel.” Marvel Studios loves to use their cinematic universe to their advantage by using characters from the MCU in various standalone films, and it looks like we could be seeing a famous face in “Captain Marvel.”

Christopher M of Omega Underground is reporting that Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as Nick Fury in the film. Not only that, but it appears that the role will be more than just a glorified cameo, as the report nots that Nick Fury will be “co-starring” in the film.

We haven’t seen much of of Nick Fury as of late, so it will be interesting to see how he does fit into the film if he does indeed appear. But for now this rumor remains unconfirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt.
“Captain Marvel” will hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
