Michael Keaton Is Reportedly Once Again In Talks To Play The Villain In Spider-Man: Homecoming

Last month it was reported that Michael Keaton was in talks to play a villain in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Shortly after the report hit the Internet another report started making the rounds saying that the talks had fallen through.

According to Variety‘s sources Michael Keaton withdrew from the negotiations the first time around due to money issues. At the time it didn’t look like there was any way that the studio would be able to afford both Robert Downey Jr. and Michael Keaton for the film. But now that RDJ’s deal has been worked

out Sony and Marvel and are reportedly talking with Michael Keaton once again.

At this point Marvel hasn’t released any details about the films plot, but the rumor going around is that the main villain in the film will be the Vulture.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” stars Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya and Robert Downey Jr. and it’s set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
