Now that “Spider-Man: Homecoming” has been released, fans are looking ahead to “Black Panther,” “Thor: Ragnarok” and of course Marvel’s next big event film, “Avengers: Infinity War.”

“Avengers: Infinity War” will be the culmination of a decade of Marvel films, and it will feature team ups that we’ve never seen before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Infinity War” is set to include 70 plus characters, so the possibilities are endless when it comes to which characters might end up sharing scenes with each other.

A leaked image from the film has surfaced online, and it confirms that we will be seeing Spider-Man and Doctor Strange share some screen time, and it also confirms that we’ll be seeing Spider-Man wear a new suit.

At the end of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Tony Stark makes Peter an offer to join the Avengers, and he also shows him the Iron Spider suit.

Peter turns down the offer, but the image confirms that he will be wearing the new suit in “Infinity War.”

Here’s a reminder of what the full suit looks like.

Above the dialogue on the bottom right hand corner, the name Jesse Olivares can be seen, and Jesse Olivares who is working on “Infinity War” as a key video assistant, and has worked on various Marvel projects over the years.

What’s also interesting about the image is the dialogue which shows Doctor Strange saying, “Peter! Protect them. They’re not dead.”

Judging from that quote, it definitely sounds like Thanos is going to do some serious damage when he finally faces off against the Avengers.

“Avengers: Infinity War” will arrive in theaters on May 4, 2018.
