Kevin Smith Would Direct The Flash Movie If He Got The Offer

Things are going very well for “The Flash” TV series on the CW. However, the same can’t be said for DC’s Flash movie which has had a very tough time getting off the ground. The movie just can’t seem to keep a director, and there have also been rumors of stars leaving the cast circulating as of late.

Right now DC’s Flash movie desperately needs a director, but it can’t seem to find one. Sam Raimi, Marc Webb and even Robert Zemeckis have all been named as rumored directors who DC and Warner Bros. have reached out to, but it remains to be seen who will be taking the job.

One man who says that he “wouldn’t pass” on the directing job is none other than Kevin Smith.

Smith directed two episodes of “The Flash” TV series and one episode of “Supergirl” and he did an excellent job. However, even he has admitted that there’s a big difference between directing an episode of TV show which already runs like a well oiled machine, and directing a big budget film for a major studio.

As of this writing there are no reports claiming that Smith and Warner Bros. are talking, so we’ll have to wait and see who signs on to direct the film.
