The “Avengers: Infinity War” trailer finally arrived this week and it quickly became the most talked about movie on Twitter. It’s not hard to see why. The trailer did give fans a lot to talk about after all.
We got a good look at Spider-Man’s new suit, Black Widow’s new hair, Thor’s new eye patch and more, but without a doubt the cosmetic update that seems to have set the internet on fire is Captain America’s new beard.
When we last saw Steve Rogers in “Captain America: Civil War” he dropped his shield and went into exile, but he has re-emerged and the world is now obsessed with his facial hair.
The popularity of the beard helped make “Infinity War” the movie with the most mentions in a seven hour period after the release of the first trailer.
