DC TV shows are all the rage on the CW right now, and the “Arrowverse” has become known for its huge annual crossover events. This year’s crossover took the concept to a whole new level with “Crisis On Earth-X” and the crossover received a lot of praise for the way it utilized all of the different characters.

One character who wasn’t part of the huge crossover was Bruce Wayne, as Bruce currently resides on the Fox series “Gotham” where he’s played by David Mazouz. “Gotham” isn’t connected to the “Arrowverse” so at this point it looks unlikely that the shows will ever crossover, but that hasn’t stopped Mazouz from hoping it will happen.

Comicbook.com recently spoke to David Mazouz about a possible crossover, and he pitched an idea involving The Flash and time travel.

“The Flash kind of had their run-in with Flashpoint a couple of seasons ago. Maybe there could be another kind of Flashpoint where Flash runs back in time and goes to Gotham and maybe tries to stop Bruce Wayne’s parents’ murder from happening. Maybe not the traditional ‘Bruce Wayne gets murdered instead and Thomas becomes Batman thing,’ but something along those lines where the whole world gets whack and it’s up to Flash to fix things in Gotham.”

Even though it seems unlikely that a crossover will happen, the writers always have a loophole they can use thanks to the multiverse should this far fetched dream ever become a reality.

“The Flash” is currently on break right now but the show will return with new episodes in January, and “Gotham” will return for the second half of season 4 at some point in 2014.
