James Bond films are always heavy on the action. The franchise has managed to create some of the most memorable action sequences in the history of cinema. The best scenes in the franchise are usually the ones that go easy on special effects in favor or more practical effects and “Spectre” director Sam Mendes is certainly keeping that in mind this time around.
“The tradition for Bond is always real stunts, real action, real explosions. There’s nothing made up and that remains the case. So the ultimate goal is the kind of excitement, visceral excitement you can only get from live stunts.” Mendes says in the video.
