Former Arrow Star’s Shazam Audition Tape Surfaces Online

“Shazam!” is expected to start shooting early next year, but there’s just one gigantic problem, the film still doesn’t have a lead actor. A few names have been rumored for the lead role including John Cena and Joshua Sasse, but so far no official casting announcements have been made.

Details regarding which actors have done screen tests for the film have been kept under wraps, but former “Arrow” star Parker Young’s audition video has surfaced online. Fans who watched “Arrow” season 4 know Parker Young as Alex Davis. Alex worked on Oliver Queen’s campaign for mayor of Star City, and he was also a love interest for Thea Queen.

The audition video appears to show Young acting out a scene where he’s just discovering he has powers, and the clip also mentions Batman and Superman. Check it out below.
