Flashpoint Movie Script Reportedly Turned In, Update On Director

The standalone Flash movie has been running into some roadblocks and the film was seemingly pushed to the backburner after director Rick Famuyiwa stepped away from the film. A few months ago at San Diego International Comic Con, Warner Bros. announced a huge change for the film when it was confirmed that it will be called “Flashpoint.” Now Justin Kroll of Variety is reporting that the script has been turned in to Warner Bros.

Now that a draft of the script is done that’s a step in the right direction for “Flashpoint” but the film still has a big problem due to the fact that a director has yet to be announced.

It’s been rumored that Chris Lord and Phil Miller might be stepping up to direct, but it appears that they’re out of the running now.

Kroll noted that Robert Zemeckis is still being considered but the studio is open to talking with other directors.

Who do you want to see direct the film? Sound off in the comments below.
