When Ezra Miller was cast as The Flash in the DCCU there was a decent amount of backlash from the fans. Fans of “The Flash” TV series have become attached to the idea of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen but we all know DC isn’t going to integrate their film universe with their TV universe. We just have to accept that.

MTV recently caught up with Ezra who talked about his upcoming role as The Flash and he mentioned that it didn’t take much to sell him on the role. When he was asked about the TV show he said he’s not avoiding it at all and it’s ok for his version of The Flash to co-exist with Grant Gustin’s because they’re in parallel universes. As a matter of fact, he wants them to race.

“I’m not avoiding it all. I think it’s awesome! I think it’s awesome! Come on, we’re the Flash! It’s parallel universes! Grant Gustin is the Flash and I’m the Flash, don’t you see? It’s the event horizon, we crossed it baby! Grant and I are chilling. We’re gonna have a race, it’s gonna be dope! Like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day!” Ezra Miller said.

What do you think, Will you give Ezra Miller’s version of The Flash a fair chance?
