Evan Peters recently spoke to Details about the new season of “American Horror Story”, “X-Men: Apocalypse” and more. During the interview Peters talked a little bit about what Quicksilver will be doing in the film and he said that Quicksilver’s main goal will be finding his father.

“But the story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world.” Peters said.

Although it was recently retconned, Magneto has a history of being Quicksilver’s father in the comics and this was hinted at in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Of course Quicksilver will have his work cut out for him as Magneto has gone into hiding.

Evan Peters wasn’t shy about hyping the film up saying that it’s the biggest film the X-Men franchise has ever seen.

“Absolutely. It’s the biggest X-Men film. It’s about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge.”

“X-Men: Apocalypse” opens everywhere on May 27, 2016.
