When “Arrow” first launched in 2012, Oliver Queen was in a world of his own, but the world has since expanded into what’s now known as the “Arrowverse.”

“Arrow,” “The Flash,” DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” and “Supergirl” all currently share the same “Arrowverse” continuity, and the CW is reportedly looking to expand with a Batwoman standalone series set in the same universe.

With the TV universe constantly expanding eventually it’s going to get crowded, but CW president Mark Pedowitz recently said that there are no plans to end any of the shows.

“Shows do eventually end, we have no plans yet to end one or any of them,” Pedowitz said at the Television Critics Association press tour. “We’ll see where we come out as the season goes on.”

Batwoman is set to be introduced in this year’s “Arrowverse” crossover along with Gotham City, and it was recently revealed that Ruby Rose will be playing Kate Kane/Batwoman.

If the Batwoman series is picked up it’s expected to premiere on the CW in 2019.
