“Avengers: Infinity War” is set to hit theaters in a few weeks, and it will be a bittersweet release for Marvel fans. The film is highly anticipated as it’s the culmination of a 10 year long story arc, but it’s also the beginning of the end for some fan favorites.

Chris Evans has confirmed that his contract is done, and he recently hinted that he’s likely through playing Captain America following the release of the fourth Avengers movie, and he told ET that he’s going to miss everything about the experience.

“[I’ll miss] everything [about Captain America]. I mean, it’s not just the character, it’s the people — the experience, such good movies, such wonderful memories. I’ll miss a lot.”

It’s safe to say that Evans will be missed by the fans.

It’s been an interesting ride for him since he first made his debut in “Captain America: The First Avenger” but Evans has made the role his own and he’s been one of the cornerstones of the Marvel Cinematic Universe throughout the journey.

The Russo Brothers have teased that some characters could be killed off, so here’s to hoping that if Steve Rogers is one of them that he goes out with a bang.
