At the end of “The Flash” season 2, Zoom was mauled by Time Wraiths and his look was altered to bare a resemblance to Black Flash. Zoom’s new look got a lot of fans talking, and since the season 2 finale everyone’s been wondering if we will see Black Flash in the future and the answer is yes.

“I will say that you might be seeing him on multiple shows,” showrunner Andrew Kreisberg confirmed Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour on Sunday.

Black Flash acts as a sort of Grim Reaper for speedsters and it sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the future, as Kreisberg noted that there are multiple storylines across the “Arrowverse” that could integrate Black Flash.

“[Black Flash] is a classic character. We have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him around,” Kreisberg added. “There’s something so scary about him, something even scarier than when he was just the man, because now he is the Grim Reaper; he is the devil. How do you stop the devil? So it presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.”

Although the return of Black Flash has been confirmed, the return of Teddy Sears has not been confirmed. Sears played Zoom in season 2 and Kreisberg noted that he doesn’t know if Teddy will be returning due to his commitments with “24: Legacy.”

The CW also renewed seven shows including all four of their DC shows, and it was noted in a statement that the early renewals will give showrunners more time to plan ahead.
