Arrowverse Character Returning To Join DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

The past two weeks have been rough for fans of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” because they were forced to say goodbye to Jax and Martin Stein. That’s right, Firestorm is no more, but there is a plan in place to fill the empty spots on the Waverider.

Comicbook.com recently spoke to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, and he said that a previously established “Arrowverse” character will be “returning” to join the team.

“We do have a plan for how to replace Firestorm on the bridge, and it’s a really cool one. It’s one we’re really excited about.” Guggenheim continued, “There’s really like two empty chairs on the Waverider. So we do have a game plan. We’ve always had a game plan. I just can’t talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news.”

So who could it be?

Well Matt Ryan recently boarded the Waverider as John Constantine, but as of right now he’s only confirmed for two episodes, so it’s unclear if Constantine is the character that Guggenheim is referring to.

Of course there’s always Wally West who fans have been hoping to see join “Legends” for a while as there doesn’t seem to be much room for him on “The Flash.”

Other names we haven’t seen in the “Arrowverse” in a little while include Hawkman and Hawkgirl who haven’t been seen since the first season of “Legends” and Roy Harper who hasn’t been an “Arrowverse” regular for a few years now.

It’s also worth noting that Rip Hunter isn’t on very good terms with the Time Bureau right now, so returning to the Waverider could be something he’s interested in.

Who do you think it will be? Sound off in the comments below.
