When Arrow Fans Will Learn Vigilante’s True Identity

All season long “Arrow” fans have been trying to figure out who Prometheus is and finally we got the answers we were looking for in the most recent episode titled “Fighting Fire With Fire.”

Vigilante spent most of the episode trying to kill Oliver Queen and at one point he came face to face, or rather mask to mask, with Prometheus on a rooftop. Prometheus told him that Oliver Queen is his and Vigilante unloaded with a flurry of bullets. Prometheus then pushed Vigilante off the rooftop and removed his mask to reveal that he is none other than Adrian Chase.

The reveal was both shocking and confusing for fans because when Josh Segarra first joined the show it was publicly announced that he would be playing Vigilante.

Vigilante has been an integral part of “Arrow” season 5 and now that we know the true identity of Prometheus, everyone’s wondering who is under the Vigilante mask.

Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like we’ll be getting answers anytime soon because executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently revealed that we probably won’t be learning his true identity this season.

“We know the answer to that,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW. “You probably will not get the answer to that in season 5.”

The good news is that quote seems to indicate that Vigilante will be part of the show for a while, the bad news is we’re all probably going to spend way too much time trying to figure out who he is.

At least we know we’ll be getting answers eventually, as “Arrow” has already been renewed for season 6.
