Last year “Captain America: Civil War” hit theaters and it introduced Spider-Man to the MCU, and Ant-Man also found himself in the mix when he joined up with Team Cap. Unfortunately for Scott Lang, things didn’t end all that well for him, and he was imprisoned in the Raft after the big battle at the airport in Germany.

However, Lang and company did manage to break out of the Raft at the end of the film leaving many to wonder what will happen next. Ant-Man will be returning to the big screen next year for “Infinity War” and he’ll also be starring in “Ant-Man And The Wasp.”

According to MCU Exchange, “Ant-Man And The Wasp” will take place after Lang’s escape from the Raft, but he will find himself on house arrest. According to the report, Lang doesn’t mind being on house arrest because it allows him to spend more time with his daughter, and he’s not too keen about the idea of putting the suit back on following the events of “Captain America: Civil War.”

How Scott Lang ends up on house arrest is unknown, but at the beginning of the film he will be Ant-Man no more.

Hank and Hope will be working on a way to bring Janet Van Dyne back from the Quantum Realm and they won’t be pleased about the fact that Scott Lang ditched them to join up with Team Cap in Germany. They will use Pym particles to shrink their lab and keep it mobile.

Obviously Scott Lang will be suiting up again at some point, but what inspires him to be the Ant-Man again is unknown.
