“Thor: Ragnarok” is the next film on Marvel’s release schedule, and the release date is only a few weeks away. “Ragnarok” is without a doubt the most anticipated Thor film so far, but it looks like one of the major plot twists from the film has been inadvertently spoiled by a TV host. Obvious spoilers ahead, so if you don’t want any plot details spoiled, it would be in your best interest to leave now.
This time around Thor will be putting a team together to face off against Hela, who will be played by Cate Blanchett, and Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo recently appeared on an Australian TV show called The Project where the host kept referring to Hela as Thor’s sister.
The first time the host refers to Cate Blanchett as Thor’s sister, Hemsworth tries to brush it off, but when the host says it again Hemsworth stops him and replies by saying, “You can’t say sister. You can’t give that away.”
Mark Ruffalo then follows up by saying, “Ixnay on the istersay.”
Hemsworth then jokingly asks if the show is live and if they can rewind.
The film has already screened for some members of the press, but obviously this host didn’t get the memo about what is and isn’t considered a spoiler.
You can check out the awkward moment at the 6:20 mark in the video below.
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
