Title Revealed For The Arrow Season 5 Premiere

“Arrow” season 5 kicked off production today and producer Marc Guggenheim was nice enough to reveal that the title for the very first episode of the new season will be “Legacy.”

When we last left Oliver Queen he had been sworn in as mayor of Star City but Team Arrow had been all but dissolved with Oliver and Felicity as the only two people left, so it should be interesting to see how everything comes together in the season premiere.

Speaking of season premieres, Grant Gustin recently announced that the first episode of “The Flash” season 3 will be titled “Flashpoint” and it was also revealed that CW newcomer “Supergirl” will be joining the network with a premiere episode titled “The Adventures of Supergirl.”

Several new actors have signed on to join the “Arrowverse” for the new seasons. Chad L. Coleman of “The Walking Dead” was recently cast as a villain on “Arrow” and Tom Felton of “Harry Potter” was also recently cast as a Central City CSI in “The Flash.”

Carly Pope was also cast as Susan Williams from Coast City, who in the comics is a reporter who is also the wife of Hal Jordan’s brother Jim Jordan.

You can catch “Arrow” when the show returns with a new season on the CW on Wednesday, October 5th.
