The Flash Producer On If We Will Ever See Three Flashes Fighting Side By Side

“The Flash” has introduced quite a few new characters in season 2. Two of those new characters are Jay Garrick and Wally West and both of those characters are speedsters. Jay Garrick of course is the original Flash and Wally West has been both Kid Flash and The Flash.

With so many different speedsters and potential Flashes now in the Arrowverse we’re all dying to know if we’ll see multiple Flashes team up at some point. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently spoke to EW and he didn’t rule out the possibility, but he did indicate that it won’t happen soon.

“I guess that could happen down the road. I wouldn’t want to say no, but so much of that stuff is a little bit further into the future than we’ve planned for right now.” Kreisberg said.

It was also noted that Wally West’s journey to becoming Kid Flash would be similar to the path Roy Harper took to becoming Arsenal on “Arrow.” Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing Wally make the transition in season 2. But there’s still hope that Team Flash will find a way to help Jay Garrick get his powers back and we will see The Flash of Earth-1 team up with The Flash of Earth-2.

“The Flash” airs Tuesdays on the CW at 8pm EST.
