TVLine recently revealed some new details about next week’s episode “Luck Be A Lady” and according to the report, Harry will be delivering some bad news.

“Harry shows up on our Earth this coming Tuesday bearing some bad news. And despite getting a very chilly welcome as a result, he thrusts himself into Team Flash’s latest case, eventually helping uncover a (literally) big clue in the brand-new metahumans mystery.”

It will certainly be nice to have Wells back on the show, and it also sounds like we’re going to be finding out more about The Thinker’s plan, which is obviously tied to the brand new metahumans that are arriving in Central City.

“Luck Be A Lady” will air Tuesday, October 24 on the CW.

“DC COMICS’ CHARACTER HAZARD COMES TO PLAY IN CENTRAL CITY – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team are hit by a string of bad luck and realize it is the handiwork of a new meta, Becky (guest star Sugar-Lyn Beard) nicknamed Hazard, who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself. The members of Team Flash will be getting back to business when season 4 begins, and they’ll be taking down the most dangerous metahumans that Central City has to offer. But, they will also be spending their time trying to figure out a way to free Barry Allen from his Speed Force prison.

It seems obvious that Barry will be returning at some point, but his return has not been officially confirmed.

The cast of “The Flash” sat down with TVLine for a group interview at Comic Con, and Grant Gustin did confirm that Barry Allen will be getting out of the Speed Force, and he also teased that he won’t be the same Barry when he gets out.

“Time in the Speed Force is kind like non-linear. I think everything is kind of happening at once, so it’s probably a pretty overwhelming experience, and he’s probably getting a little scrambled. So, who really knows? I don’t think he’ll be the same Barry necessarily when he gets out.”

There’s no denying that season 3 didn’t have as much humor as the previous seasons, but the cast recently told EW that they’re ready to get back to business as usual in season 4.

“I think it’s safe to say, nothing against anything, it was the least fun season, too, because it was so heavy,” said Grant Gustin at Comic Con. “You can feel it in your belly when you went home. You were affected by the storyline. I was, at least. The job’s more fun when we’re goofing around on set.”

Executive producer Todd Helbing also assured the cast, and the fans that season 4 will be lighter than season 3.

“I think that’s as dark as we ever want to take the show, and we’re making a conscious effort this year to get the fun quotient back up,” said Helbing.

“It’s The Flash; it should be fun,” added Gustin.

This time around Team Flash won’t have to worry about another speedster, as it’s been confirmed that the team will be taking on Clifford DeVoe, aka The Thinker.

“The Flash” will return on Tuesday, October 10.

The season 4 premiere will be titled “The Flash Reborn” and many fans have been wondering if Wally West will be trading in his yellow suit for a red one. Keiynan Lonsdale recently downplayed the rumors, and Candice Patton did as well, but sooner or later the truth comes out.

New photos from “The Flash” set have surfaced online, and they show Wally West wearing The Flash suit.

So unless the scene in the photos above happens to take place on an alternate Earth where Wally West is already The Flash, it looks like Wally West will indeed become The Flash on Earth-1.

With Barry gone fans are wondering if Wally West might be trading in his yellow suit for a red one, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening right away. Newsweek asked Keiynan Lonsdale about possibly making the switch, and he said that Wally still has some growing to do.

“It’s not something that’s on my radar,” Lonsdale told Newsweek. “I feel as though there is so much story to tell and Wally has so much growing to do. I’d like to see that journey continue. That’s what I think is important. We need to see how these character realistically get to where they are headed for.”

Everyone’s wondering how the show will address Barry’s absence when season 4 premieres, but it seems that Kid Flash won’t be picking up the mantle of The Flash anytime soon.

At the end of season 2, Barry screwed up in a big way when he traveled to the past and stopped Reverse-Flash from killing his mother. Barry created “Flashpoint” and he’s been dealing with the repercussions of his actions ever since.

It seems that Barry Allen has learned his lesson, as the Speed Force made it clear that he’s played with the timeline one too may times in a recent episode. Although time travel has been the driving force for season 3, don’t look for season 4 to follow suit.

Showrunner Todd Helbing recently spoke during the “Arrowverse” panel at PaleyFest, and he admitted that he doesn’t see the show doing as much time traveling in season 4 (via Rotten Tomatoes).

“We haven’t really talked that much about season 4 yet, but I don’t think we’re going to do as much time traveling,” Todd said.

It was also noted by co-showrunner Aaron Helbing that the next season will likely focus on the present.

“We like playing with the timelines and the different time periods and future and past. For now, I think we’re going to focus on the present.”

Although the first three seasons of The Flash have followed somewhat of a formula, it sounds like the show will move in a bit of a different direction with season 4, as it’s already been confirmed that it won’t feature another speedster as the big villain.

“The Flash” returns on Tuesday with “Duet.”

Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.
