The Flash: Grant Gustin Reacts To Negative Backlash About Barry, Reveals Who He Wants To Work With

The second half of “The Flash” season 3 has focused on Barry attempting to save Iris from being killed by Savitar, and he’s been doing everything he can to change the future. Unfortunately Barry Allen’s efforts have caused him to make some pretty poor decisions, and viewers are sometimes frustrated with what Barry is doing.

Barry’s decisions seem to be coming back to bite him, and it’s obvious that he’s been motivated by fear. If he truly does want to see things clearer, then he’s going to have to look in the mirror and make a change.

Grant Gustin commented on the backlash during a panel at PaleyFest and he says he agrees with the viewers.

“The Flash” commonly features guest appearances from other characters in the “Arrowverse” and at this point nearly every DC character on the CW has appeared on the show. One character who Barry Allen seemed to have great chemistry with is Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, and Grant Gustin also revealed that Brandon Routh is someone he would like to work with more in the future.

Ray Palmer Uses Captain Cold’s Gun For The First Time In Clip From DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

The Legends are looking a little different in DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” season 2, compared to how they looked in season 1. Hawkman and Hawkgirl are gone, Rip Hunter is gone, Captain Cold is gone, and Ray Palmer no longer has his Atom suit.

The suit was sacrificed in a previous episode after it was confiscated by a Shogun in feudal Japan, and now Palmer is powerless. With Captain Cold gone, and Ray Palmer powerless, Mick Rory told Palmer that he’s looking for a new partner, and he offered him Cold’s gun.

Stepping into Captain Cold’s shoes isn’t going to be easy for Ray Palmer, but he agreed to give it a shot.

The CW has released a new clip from this week’s episode titled “Compromised” and the clip shows Palmer trying to act cool as he attempts to get used to the gun. Check it out below.

REVELATIONS — When the Legends trace a timequake to President Reagan’s White House, they are shocked to discover their old enemy Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) is now a Senior Adviser to Reagan. As the team works to uncover what Darhk has up his devious sleeve, Sara (Caity Lotz) struggles with the choice of getting revenge or helping with the team’s larger mission. Thinking that the JSA members could be of help, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) break into the JSA and are surprised at what they find. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to prevent his younger self from creating an even bigger time Abberation. Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh also star.

Ray Palmer Returns In The Extended Trailer For Arrow ‘Lost Souls’

“Arrow” dropped a bomb in this week’s episode when they revealed that Ray Palmer is still alive. We all knew he was alive, but still it was nice to see it play out at the end of the episode.

Next week’s episode “Lost Souls” looks to be very Ray-centric as Team Arrow searches for the founder of Palmer Technologies. Palmer needs to be brought back into the fold as he’s set to be an integral part of “Legends of Tomorrow” but Team Arrow needs to find him first.
