Next week’s episode of “The Flash” is one of the most anticipated episodes of the season. The show will crossover with “Supergirl” and Music Meister will force Barry and Kara to act out a musical after he puts both Supergirl and The Flash in a coma.

The crossover will feature stars from across the “Arrowverse” and Iris West herself, Candice Patton, will be a big part of the episode. Candice recently spoke to TV Line and she dropped a big spoiler when she revealed that Iris and Mon-El will be lovers in the alternate reality where the musical crossover takes place.

“Barry and Kara envision this world where Iris’ character and Mon-El’s character” — named Millie and Tommy — “are very, very deeply in love with each other. And that obviously throws them off, because those are their love interests.” Millie, the “fast-talking, brash daughter of a mobster,” and Tommy are “fighting for their love, because their families don’t want them to be together.”

West-Allen shippers certainly aren’t going to like seeing Iris with someone else, especially since her and Barry are on a bit of a break right now. Of course the episode will take place in an alternate reality, so not all hope is lost.

“Duet” will air on Tuesday, March 21st on the CW.

DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER – Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.
