When the cast of characters was first announced, many fans were disappointed to see that Green Lantern was not a part of the lineup. Although Green Lantern hasn’t been officially announced for the film, it looks like fans may be seeing an appearance from a member of the Green Lantern Corps. after all.

The Wrap is reporting that, “A member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be seen in “Justice League” in a key sequence.”

Warner Bros. has yet to make any casting announcements regarding which member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be appearing, and/or who will be playing the character. The studio has announced that a Green Lantern Corps. movie is scheduled to be released in 2020, but once again, no casting announcements have been made in regards to the film.

There are certainly some fan favorites out there in Hollywood who fans would like to see in the mix, but we’ll just have to wait and see how this all goes down.

“Justice League” is set to be released on November 17, 2017.

Ben Affleck is hard at work filming “Justice League” and he revealed the first footage of Deathstroke a few weeks ago. Ever since then fans have been trying to figure out if we’ll be seeing Slade Wilson in “Justice League.”

“Justice League” is being directed by Zack Snyder, and Snyder recently teased fans with a little behind the scenes photo. The photo shows Snyder working on a storyboard while wearing some Batman gear.

At first glance there’s nothing all that suspicious about the photo, but some fans on the internet dug a little deeper and noticed that Deathstroke appears on the storyboard. Looking even closer you can see that Deathstroke appears to be meeting with someone who looks a lot like Lex Luthor.

Of course Ben Affleck’s Batman solo film is in development and Zack Snyder is working on the film as an executive producer, so, it’s always possible that he could be lending Ben a helping hand. However, it’s impossible to ignore the fact that his tweet includes the hashtag #JusticeLeague.

Neither DC or Warner Bros. have made any official casting announcements regarding who will be playing Slade Wilson on the big screen. But one of the fan favorites for the role seems to be Joe Manganiello.

Manganiello has been rumored for the role for a long time, and there are a few key signs that may prove he’s the man under the Deathstroke mask. Joe Manganiello revealed on Twitter that he is in London where “Justice League” is currently filming, and he’s also been seen sporting a Slade Wilson-esque goatee as of late.

The film will unite Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash and Aquaman together on the big screen and it’s arguably DC’s most anticipated movie yet.

Fans got a little preview of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” and in 2018 he’ll be getting his very own standalone film. But before that happens fans will have a chance to truly see him in action when “Justice League” hits theaters in 2017.

Nobody seems to be having more fun on the set of the film than Jason Momoa himself.

Director Zack Snyder shared a photo of Momoa “rocking out” and he looks like he could easily pass for the frontman of an epic metal band. Check it out below.

Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen is being described as witty and the “comic-relief” of the film. Barry Allen will still be establishing himself and learning about his powers in “Justice League” and his suit will be a prototype suit made up of 148 pieces. It was described as sleek and made up of several different plates. The look is said to be similar, but different when compared to the suit he wore in “Batman V Superman.” There is reportedly wiring on the suit which is used to contain the electricity generated by Barry’s powers.

A clip of Barry Allen’s first meeting with Bruce Wayne was also shown. In the unfinished clip Barry enters his apartment and turns the power on to find Bruce Wayne sitting in his home. Bruce asks Barry about the footage he saw from Lex Luthor’s files which showed Barry using his powers in a convenience story but Barry tells Bruce it wasn’t him.

Bruce then throws a Batarang at Barry and everything slows down as Barry’s powers kick in. Barry then grabs the Batarang and says, “You’re Batman?” Bruce then tells Barry he’s putting together a team and he says, “Stop right there. I’m in.” He tells Bruce that he “needs friends.” The scene was described as entertaining and fun.

Reporters in attendance also got to see a scene being filmed which featured several heroes speaking with Jim Gordon. Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Gordon are all talking when Cyborg shows up. After Cyborg arrives Barry jokes that they won’t all be able to fit in a car and then Batman tells him that he has something bigger.

After having a meeting they all walk away and leave Gordon while he’s still talking then Gordon turns around to see The Flash is the only one left. Barry looks at Gordon and says “Wow, they just left like that didn’t they? How rude.”

Many people are saying that they’re surprised how much they enjoyed Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen and that he might be able to give the DC film universe the boost of positivity it needs. It was also noted that Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher who plays Cyborg seem to have great chemistry together.

“They are filming (Justice League) now, and I jump in from August,” Eisenberg said.

Eisenberg admitted that he honestly doesn’t know much about the plot of “Justice League” but he expressed a lot of love for Lex Luthor and the cast he worked with on “Batman V Superman.”

“The character I play is so unusual and complicated. As an actor he’s everything you’d want to do. It’s very exciting for me to play that role. And, secondarily, it’s interesting to be in these massive, high-profile movies, because all the stuff around you as an actor is really good. You’re also acting with incredible actors. In the last movie I had lots of scenes with Holly Hunter, who has been one of my favourite actors since I was young. This all exists because this movie is so massive that they attract so many talented people, even in smaller positions. It was really special to me.”

“Justice League” hits theaters on November 17, 2017.

“At that moment, I thought, ‘I’m not done with this yet. I want to go back and keep telling the story, ‘Batman v Superman’ is a bit of an ‘Empire Strikes Back’ or ‘Two Towers’ or any similar middle film in a trilogy. The middle film tends to be the darkest one. I do think from ‘Man of Steel’ through ‘Justice League,’ it is one saga really.” Chris Terrio said.

“I expect ‘Justice League’ will be tonally not quite as dark as ‘Batman v Superman,'” he explained. “From that point of view, I felt compelled to go back and try to lift us and myself into a different tonal place because I think when you write a darker film, sometimes you want to redeem it all a bit.” he continued.

Terrio added that he’s did a lot of research while writing “Justice League” because he felt like he owed it to the fans to get it right.

“If you told me the most rigorous dramaturgical and intellectual product of my life would be superhero movies, I would say you were crazy. But I do think fans deserve that. I felt I owed the fan base all of my body and soul for two years because anything less wouldn’t have been appreciating the opportunity I had.” Terrio said.

He went on to say that he doesn’t necessarily know if he will be writing “Part Two” for the Justice League films.

“Justice League” starts filming in April and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters on March 25, 2016.

“Justice League” is set for release in 2017 with solo films for The Flash and Aquaman set for release in 2018. Producer Charles Roven confirmed that when we meet up with The Flash and Aquaman in their own solo films, they will picking up where they left off in “Justice League.” Unlike The Flash and Aquaman, Wonder Woman’s movie will be released before “Justice League” and it’s rumored that her solo adventure will help to setup the conflict for the ensemble film.

Chris Terrio is writing the script for “Justice League” and he seems to be taking the job very seriously. The Academy Award winning writer has been spending a lot of time doing research on topics that are relevant to the characters. According to the Wall Street Journal, “He studied red- and blueshifts in electromagnetic physics to think about the Flash, investigated deep sea biology in the Mariana trench to create the world of Aquaman, and read the Greek historian Diodorus of Sicily’s account of the war between Amazon and Atlantis to better understand Wonder Woman.”

Big things are coming for DC’s film universe and it all kicks off when “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.

This is an interesting turn of events considering that many fans were hoping to see him return to the role of J. Jonah Jameson in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Some fans even went as far as to start a petition to get him back in the role. But it doesn’t look like those fans will be getting their wish because Justice League is set to start filming next month.

J.K. Simmons joins an already loaded cast with Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The film will be split up into two parts with “Part One” currently scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017. “Part Two” will be released on June 14, 2019.

Although Warner Bros. has yet to announce official plans for a new Batman solo film, it seems like a foregone conclusion that it will be happening eventually. This casting likely implies that Simmons would also end up being a part of that film as well. We all know that you can’t have a Batman movie without Commissioner Gordon.
