We already know that there will be a big confrontation between Barry Allen and Savitar when the big bad tries to kill Iris at the end of the season, but it doesn’t seem like we’re getting any close to finding out who he is. TV Line recently spoke to Danielle Panabaker, and according to Killer Frost herself, the show is going to make us wait a while longer.

“Slowly, different characters are going to learn who Savitar is,” Danielle Panabaker revealed. “But I don’t know if the audience is going to be told anytime soon.”

This is the third year in a row that “The Flash” has relied on a villain’s true identity to carry the story arc of the season. In season 1 we learned that Reverse-Flash was actually Eobard Thawne inhabiting the body of Harrison Wells, and in season 2 we learned that Jay Garrick was actually named Hunter Zolomon, and he was the man under the Zoom mask.

The first two reveals played out slowly, but there were little hints along the way. This time it’s been a lot harder to figure out, and according to Grant Gustin, it will be an “Oh. My. God!” moment when Savitar’s identity is revealed.

“It’s not the same as past reveals,” Gustin said. “With Zoom and Reverse-Flash, the audience was starting to realize things before we all started to piece it together. But I don’t know how you would know this year. And when you do find out, it’s like, ‘Oh. My. God!’ There are really no secrets or hints leading up to to it.”

“The Flash will return on Tuesday, March 21st with “Duet.”

Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

We’ve seen over the last couple of episodes that Caitlyn is developing powers similar to her Earth-2 counterpart Killer Frost. However, unlike Killer Frost, Danielle Panabaker recently explained to EW that Caitlyn wants nothing to do with these powers.

“After hearing [about], and briefly meeting, Killer Frost at the end of season 2, I think she’s terrified that could be her future. She said to Cisco at the end of last season, “I’m scared, I don’t want to become her,” as she was suffering from her PTSD after everything with Zoom. It is something that she’s very afraid of and cognizant of and trying to avoid.”

Given that Barry altered everyone’s world without them knowing, it would be easy for the characters on the show to point their fingers at him. Although Caitlyn doesn’t seem too thrilled about her powers, Panabaker says that she doesn’t think Caitlyn will place the blame on Barry.

“I don’t think that Caitlin Snow is angry at Barry. This is her reality. After learning about Flashpoint and that Barry did run back in time, that’s new information, but that’s not the foundation of who she is and her life experience. This is her life, these are the cards she was dealt. Does she wish it was something different? Probably, but I don’t think she’s angry at Barry for doing this.”

“The Flash” airs Tuesday nights on the CW.

EW has announced that “The Vampire Diaries” alumni Susan Walters has signed on to join the show as Carla Tannhauser. In addition to being Caitlin Snow’s mother, Carla is also a biomedical engineer and the CEO of a major research company.

According to the report Caitlin and her mother don’t exactly get along and they have what’s being described as a “difficult relationship.”

It was also noted that there’s potential for Carla Tannhauser to become a recurring character.

“The Flash” season 3 will of course kick off with “Flashpoint” and Danielle Panabaker recently commented on how the Caitlin we see in “Flashpoint” will be different from the Caitlin Snow that we’ve come to know and love.

“Totally different,” Panabaker says. “All the relationships are very different.”

“The Flash” will return on the CW on Tuesday, October 4th.

Every moment of the Earth-2 episodes lived up to the hype. We got to meet Barry, Cisco, Iris and Joe’s doppelgangers, which was pretty cool. We also got to meet Caitlin Snow’s Earth-2 doppelganger better known as Killer Frost which is something we’ve all been waiting for.

Danielle Panabaker knocked it out of the park with her portrayal of Killer Frost and the fans loved it. When we last saw her she had turned on Zoom to help Team Flash escape his lair. She froze Zoom in a block of ice so that they could get away. But sooner or later, he’s going to get out and she’ll have to face the consequences.

Luckily for us, we don’t have to live with the mystery forever. Entertainment Weekly recently confirmed that we will be seeing more of Earth-2 and Killer Frost. They recently asked Todd Helbing about what’s to come in the second half of season 2 and he wasn’t shy about his answer.

“First off, despite the final breach being closed, we have not seen the last of Earth-2. “You’ll see quite a bit” in coming episodes, executive producer Todd Helbing says. As for Killer Frost, we will find out her fate, so yes, you will see her again sometime soon.”

So fear not Killer Frost fans as she will return this season. Now we just have to worry about whether or not she makes it out of season alive.

Everyone’s excited for Killer Frost’s debut as we’ve seen quite a few photos of her and even a few clips. But we have yet to see her use her powers. Panabaker confirmed to TVLine that we would be seeing Killer Frost use her powers in the two episodes that take place on Earth-2 and she even revealed a few details about what powers we’re going to see.

“A lot of what we see in this week’s episode is her use of icicles, how she can shoot them from her hand. She has control over ice and in [next week’s episode] we see her explore her powers a bit more.” Panabaker said.

Given that the next two episodes of “The Flash” will take place on Earth-2 we expected things to look a little different. But Danielle Panabaker says that Earth-2 really is its own world and that it’s “completely different” from Earth-1.

“I like that it’s a bit retro. Theres a classic element to it that just looks cool. I feel very lucky that everyone on our show is so talented that we were able to pull off so many different looks. Earth-Two is so completely different than Earth-One, so I’m really excited to see it all come together.” she added.

This week’s episode “Welcome to Earth-2” kicks off a two part story arc where Team Flash travels to Earth-2. You can check out a synopsis below and a trailer above.

“BARRY VISITS EARTH-2 – Barry (Grant Gustin), Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) journey to Earth-2 to rescue Wells’ daughter, Jesse (guest star) from Zoom. Martin), but nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Deathstorm (guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) has to take over the Flash’s responsibilities when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford) attacks Central City.
