The “Arrow” season 5 finale ended with a shocking cliffhanger, and ever since it aired fans have been trying to figure out who will be returning for season 6 in the fall. You’re about to find out one character who definitely survived, so stop reading now if you’re waiting for the season premiere and trying to avoid spoilers.

One fan favorite character who people are definitely hoping to see more of is Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke. The character found redemption in the season finale, and the episode also set up a potential story arc for him in season 6. Luckily for Deathstroke fans, Stephen Amell confirmed on Saturday at Nashville Heroes & Villains FanFest that he will be returning.

“I can report that Manu Bennett is back to being a part of the show,” Amell said via TV Line, “and I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome.”

This is pretty much exactly what “Arrow” fans were hoping to hear. Now we just have to spend the rest of the summer trying to figure out who else survived.

“Arrow” will return in October.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice.

As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
