“Spider-Man: Homecoming” arrived in theaters last month, and it featured quite a few characters from Spidey’s rogues gallery. It looks like fans are going to have to get used to keeping track of Spider-Man characters on the big screen, because quite a few new ones are going to be introduced to audiences everywhere over the next few years.

Sony is currently developing a spinoff called “Silver and Black” starring Black Cat and Silver Sable, and Scorpion is one of the villains who has been rumored for the film. Now more names have surfaced.
Jeff Sneider of The Tracking Board recently noted on Twitter that he’s heard Chameleon, Tombstone and Tarantula could be also be added to the film.
However, it should be noted that these are just rumors for now.
Since I slipped the word "chameleon" into my Riz Ahmed/Venom story, I've heard the character could very well show up… in SILVER AND BLACK!

Have also heard TOMBSTONE and TARANTULA for SILVER AND BLACK. I don't know much about those Marvel villains, but they sound interesting…

It’s interesting to note that Riz Ahmed’s name is also mentioned, as it was reported last week that he’s been in negotiations with Sony to join one of the upcoming Spider-Man spinoffs. It’s been rumored that he’s in talks to play Carnage in the Venom standalone film, but it appears that his mystery character could end up being Chameleon.
