Sony Registers Multiple Domains For Possible Spider-Man Movie Titles

Spider-Man is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in May when he makes his debut in “Captain America: Civil War” and he also has his own movie coming in 2017. The movie is currently untitled and everyone’s trying to figure out what the title will be. Sony may have just given the world a few hints.

It’s being reported by Ain’t It Cool News that Sony has registered 3 new domain names which could be possible titles for the new Spider-Man movie. The domain names are SpiderManComingOfAgeMovie.com, SpiderManGreatnessAwaitsMovie.com, and SpiderManSuspendedMovie.com. Each URL redirects to SonyPictures.com. It was also reported on Monday by the BBC that Sony has registered the domain name SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com and that URL redirects to SonyPictures.com as well.

With the film scheduled for release next summer, Sony and Marvel will likely be picking a title soon. It’s possible that it could be “Coming of Age,” “Greatness Awaits,” “Homecoming,” or “Suspended.” It’s also possible that they have another idea in mind and none of these titles will be used. All we can do for now is speculate, but it seems that Sony has put together a shortlist of potential titles.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut when “Captain America: Civil War” hits theaters on May 6. The currently untitled Spider-Man solo film will be released on July 17, 2017.
