Disney announced today that Harrison Ford is returning to the “Indiana Jones” franchise for a fifth entry, but another one of his iconic characters is being recast. Disney has plans to film a movie focused on Han Solo, and they’re on the hunt for someone to take over the role. It’s been reported that Disney auditioned over 2,500 actors for the role, but it looks like they’re getting close to making their decision.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has narrowed the list down to a few specific names. The report mentions that three actors tested for the role last week in London and those actors are, Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!), Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction), and Taron Edgerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service).
According to Justin Kroll of Variety also noted that Blake Jenner and Jack O’Connell are also on the shortlist.
I concur on Mr @Borys_Kit list HAN SOLO LIST and you can also add Blake Jenner and Jack O'Connell's name to the list as well

THR also notes that the three actors they mentioned were picked from a list of 10 actors that tested for the role. Actors who were mentioned as having previously tested included Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort.
The untitled Han Solo film will be directed by Chris Lord and Phil Miller and it’s scheduled for a 2018 release.
