YouTuber Megasteakman has created a truly epic mash up that brings together the worlds of “Legend of Zelda” and “Game of Thrones.” The fan film is appropriately titled “Game of Hyrule” and it mixes “Zelda” with “Thrones” beautifully.
The short film is set in the land of Hyrule, but it’s not the Hyrule we’re used to seeing in Nintendo games. This Hyrule is a much darker place full of conspiracies, murder, mysteries and gratuitous nudity. All of your favorite characters from the “Legend of Zelda” series are in there, but they are not at all how you remember them. Much like the world George R.R. Martin created with “Game of Thrones” the world that’s been created in “Game of Hyrule” is a world where the bad guys can win. You can check out the short film in the clip below.
