For years fans have been hoping to see the X-Men and Fantastic Four join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there hasn’t been really much hope on that front, until now. Of course in theory this sounds like a great idea, but every situation has pros and cons. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is much more family friendly than the X-Men universe, and “Deadpool” is straight up rated-R.
One can’t help but wonder how Deadpool would work in the larger MCU, and whether or not the character would be toned down, and Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to express his feelings on the situation after the report began to circulate.
If this is true, I wonder how the fudge it would affect Deadpool? https://t.co/66RNUDU80S

Having most of the Marvel characters together in one film universe seems like a dream come true, but no one is anxious to see Deadpool get downgraded to a PG-13 film series.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but until something actually does happen, let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope this situation works out for everyone involved.
