The Punisher is a beloved anti-hero, and fans were thrilled to see him join the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he joined the cast of “Daredevil” season 2. Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle received rave reviews, and the enthusiasm for his performance led to him getting his own spin-off.

There’s plenty more to come from Marvel on Netflix, and director Dearbhla Walsh recently confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that The Punisher will be arriving on the streaming service in November.

“One other time that hasn’t been aired yet, which was an episode for the new Marvel series The Punisher, which I did just before Christmas, but it’s not airing until November. I directed that in New York and edited in L.A., but this was my first directing experience in lovely Canada.”

That’s certainly some good news, and if you can’t wait that long for more Marvel on Netflix, just remember that we all have “The Defenders” to look forward to in August.

After the murder of his family, Frank Castle is both haunted and hunted. In the criminal underworld, he’ll become known as The Punisher.
