Oliver Will Appreciate The Significance Of Being A Teacher In Arrow Season 5

Slowly but surely we’re getting closer and closer to the premiere of “Arrow” season 5. The show is set to return in October, and when it does Oliver Queen will be working hard to train new recruits for Team Arrow.

In the past Oliver has trained characters such as Roy and Laurel when she gave him no other choice. He’s also been a mentor to Thea.

Although Oliver Queen has trained members of Team Arrow before, he was never very nice about it, and he always seemed to do it unwillingly. “Arrow” producer Wendy Mericle recently spoke to TV Line and she revealed that Oliver will finally see how his experience can be used to help others.

“The biggest difference is he’s just more experienced” executive producer Wendy Mericle says. “He’s older, and he’s been through more. He appreciates more the significance of being a teacher and what that means. In terms of this universe of martial arts and fighting and training people and what that means, he’s learning there’s value in being a mentor.”

One way or another it sounds like Oliver Queen is going to have his hands full in “Arrow” season 5, which you can check out on the CW on Wednesday, October 5.
