Norman Reedus Says He’s Down To Play Ghost Rider

Marvel has the rights to Ghost Rider and it’s rumored that the character will be joining Marvel’s Netflix lineup at some point. Nicolas Cage previously played the character on the big screen but since his film wasn’t under the Marvel Studios banner it seems highly unlikely that Marvel would ask Cage to return to the role.

Marvel has been known for making some pretty awesome casting decisions over the years and they won’t have to look very far to find someone who wants to play Ghost Rider. Norman Reedus has been busy as of late promoting his new movie “Ride” and he recently spoke to Uproxx and said that he’s totally down to play Ghost Rider if the opportunity comes his way.

“Hell yeah,” Reedus said when asked if he would be interested in the role. “It would be a blast. Do I get a skull face that’s on fire and all that stuff? F*ck yeah. I’m down.”

Norman Reedus currently plays Daryl Dixon on “The Walking Dead” but for all we know Daryl could be dead as Negan killed someone off in the season finale and who it was is still a mystery.
