“Wonder Woman” was released to rave reviews from fans and critics alike a few months ago, and now Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince is all the rage. People can’t seem to get enough of Wonder Woman right now, and it could be argued that she’s the most popular character in the DCEU at the moment.
It appears that DC and Warner Bros. have picked up on just how popular Wonder Woman is right now, because the latest synopsis for “Justice League” puts her right in the spotlight. Mattel recently released a Mera Barbie doll in honor of “Justice League” and along with it a new synopsis was also released which can be read below.
“Once again, Wonder Woman must demonstrate her ability as a fierce warrior. Facing a great enemy, she and Batman join forces to recruit a group of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Having formed an unprecedented League of heroes, they set out to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
The previous synopsis focused on Batman and his quest to unite the team, and the original synopsis can be found below.
“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes–Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash–it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
This certainly isn’t a bad thing, as Wonder Woman seems to be the character that fans are most interested at the moment, so it’s safe to say we can probably expect a few big Wonder Woman-centric scenes when the film is released.
