Marvel’s Netflix shows have been receiving rave reviews so far and they hope to keep that going when “Luke Cage” gets his own series later this year. Marvel has finally set a premiere date for the show as they’ve confirmed it will premiere on Netflix on September 30.
Mike Colter confirmed the release date during the red carpet premiere for “Daredevil” season 2. Colter was asked what fans can expect from “Luke Cage” and he says it’s going to be action packed.
“Well, I’ll just say this, it’s going to be action packed from beginning to the very end. Trust me. ‘Daredevil’ premieres March 18th and I will see the fans on September 30th.” Mike Colter said.
Finally “Luke Cage” has a premiere date and “Iron Fist” has a lead actor. That means we’re getting a little bit closer to seeing that Defenders series we’ve all been waiting for. You can check out the video from the “Daredevil” season 2 premiere which features Colter making the announcement below.
