After Clark Gregg recently dropped some hints, people have been talking about the Secret Warriors possibly coming to “Agents of SHIELD” season 3. Well Marvel has put all the rumors to rest by confirming that they will indeed be a part of the next season. They announced the new via Variety earlier today.
“Season three of “SHIELD” will introduce new friends and foes based on the “Secret Warriors” comic series when it premieres on Sept. 29. In the aftermath of SHIELD’s battle with Jiaying and the Inhumans, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) will search the world for more powered people and assemble an extraordinary new team to deal with threats unlike the world has ever seen. However, the Agents of SHIELD will soon find out they’re not the only ones tracking down these new Inhumans.”
In the comics the team is put together by Nick Fury and includes Daisy “Quake” Johnson who is played by Chloe Bennet and also known as Skye on the show. Marvel will also be getting fans involved at Comic Con this year as SHIELD ambassadors will be walking the floor looking for dedicated fans who will receaive limited edition Secret Warriors pins.
“Agents of SHIELD” season 3 premieres on Tuesday, September 29 at 9 p.m.
