Fans were sad to see Laurel Lance killed off in “Arrow” season 4 because Katie Cassidy had been with the show since day one, and nobody wanted to say goodbye to her. That’s why fans were thrilled when it was announced that Katie would be returning as Black Siren in “Arrow” season 5, and fans were even more thrilled when she got upgraded to series regular for season 6.

It sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Katie Cassidy when “Arrow” returns in the fall, and although most of the characters who knew Laurel Lance have gotten used to the fact that her doppelganger is evil, Sara Lance hasn’t had the pleasure of meeting Black Siren yet.

Fans are looking forward to the possibility of White Canary coming face to face with Black Siren, and during a recent panel at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest over the weekend Katie Cassidy said that she thinks it’s going to happen.

“I think that’s something we’ll definitely get to see next season… The different relationships, how each character will react. I don’t know how Black Siren will react… I think she’s very mysterious.”

Whether the meeting will happen on “Arrow” or DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” remains to be seen, but the fact that Cassidy seems confident that it will happen is definitely a good sign.

You can catch Katie Cassidy on “Arrow” when the show returns for season 6 in the fall.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice.

As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
