John Constantine To Become A Series Regular On DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

The team on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” has undergone some big changes this season, and it looks like the team will continue to evolve in the months to come. The Legends lost Firestorm, but they’ve gained Kid Flash, and John Constantine also boarded the Waverider for a brief time.

Fans have been asking for more Constantine on the show, and it looks like they’re going to get their wish, because Matt Ryan’s John Constantine has been promoted to a series regular according to Entertainment Weekly.

Of course whether or not this actually happens depends on “Legends” getting renewed for season 4, and an official announcement has yet to be made. However, it seems unlikely that Constantine would be added to the new season unless the powers that be are confident that it will be happening.

A few months ago CW President Mark Pedowitz noted that he was optimistic that all of the “Arrowverse” related shows would be picked up for new seasons.

DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” will return tonight with “Necromancing The Stone.”

“THE POWER WITHIN – When Mallus’ power over Sara (Caity Lotz) resurfaces, she unwittingly becomes the bearer of one of the Totems. Rory (Dominic Purcell) must conquer his dark side in order to wield his own Totem power to help save the crew. Meanwhile, Agent Sharpe (guest star Jes Macallan) notices that something is wrong and recruits someone unorthodox to help. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maise Richardson-Sellers, Keiynan Lonsdale and Nick Zano also star. April Mullen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust (#315). Original airdate 3/19/2018.”
