“Avengers: Infinity War” is set to be released next year, and originally the movie was set to be a two part film. However, Kevin Feige has gone on record saying that they are “two very different films” and Marvel made the decision to give each movie its own individual title.
Kevin Feige also noted that the title of the fourth Avengers movie is a spoiler, hence why it has not been revealed yet.
Fans have been trying to figure out what it could possibly be called, and Zoe Saldana appeared to have revealed the title when she referred to the second film as “Gauntlet.” Zoe’s comment got everyone talking, and it seems to make a lot of sense for the second movie to be called “Infinity Gauntlet.” However, James Gunn is denying that’s the title.
Gunn recently spoke to Yahoo! Movies and he’s claiming Zoe just misspoke.
“It’s not the title. My guess is that Zoë just misspoke. I’ll talk to Zoë today, but I would imagine that is just Zoë misspeaking and saying Infinity Gauntlet instead of Infinity War.”
It’s a well known fact that Marvel is very secretive, do you think James Gunn is telling the truth?
