Hugh Jackman finally wrapped up his run as Wolverine this year, and he went out in a big way with “Logan.” Fans are going to miss Jackman, that much is obvious, but luckily he gave us a lot of memories that will live on for a very long time.
There’s really not much to nitpick when it comes to his career as Wolverine. Sure, not every film he appeared in was a home run, but his performances were always fun to watch regardless of the circumstances.
Perhaps the only regret fans really have when it comes to Jackman’s run was that we never got to see him in the classic Wolverine suit.
The suit was teased in a deleted scene from “The Wolverine” but it just wasn’t appropriate for “Logan” so it didn’t make sense to incorporate it into the film.
However, Hugh Jackman jokingly teased that he could finally be putting the suit on for Halloween this year.
2017 is Hugh Jackman’s last year as Wolverine, and 2017 isn’t over yet, so it would be fitting for him to actually put on the suit this year. But we’ll have to wait and see if this is anything more than a humorous tease.
There’s no telling when Fox will recast the role of Wolverine, but given that he’s such a popular character it’s bound to happen eventually.
Perhaps the next person to take on the role will also be able to put on the suit as well.
