“The Flash” season 4 will be premiering on the CW in October, and this time around Team Flash won’t be facing off against another Speedster. The show will be going in a different direction in season 4, as the villain will be Clifford DeVoe, aka the Thinker.

It’s going to be interesting to see how DeVoe and The Flash interact with each other, and the writers are getting ready to put major emphasis on his intelligence. According to a fan who was in attendance at a recent panel at Nashville Con of Thrones, “Game of Thrones” star Miltos Yerolemou told fans that he read for the part of DeVoe, and he revealed some new details about the villain.
Miltos said that the role wasn’t really for him as the casting directors gave him, “three pages of random Roman trivia to memorize and spit back out. Apparently this new ‘Big Bad’ is a fast talker. Really smart.”
He also said that the tagline for the new season is something along the lines of “The Fastest Man Alive vs. The Fastest Brain Alive.”
Production on “The Flash” season 4 has officially kicked off, so even though Miltos didn’t feel he was a good fit for the role, we’ll likely be hearing about a casting announcement in the near future.
